Fashionable songs are present in films thanks to films with Elvis Presley and The Beatles as the main characters. žDuring the 60’s and 70’s the political and social convulsions of that moment, the Vietnam War, the students revolutions (May 68 events) that made youth searched evasion and refugee in the hippy movement and the protest song had a reflect in a cinema that felt the necessity of embracing such an important public. žNowadays, cinema not only use successful songs but also helps new performers to get fame and retake old songs by forgotten performers.
